1. About Gezeri
Gezeri is an editorial travel app covering Azerbaijan, published by Gezeri Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17207432), with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
By downloading or using the Gezeri app, or by accessing gezeri.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use the Gezeri app for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning and information purposes, subject to these terms and any applicable app store terms. We may suspend or end this licence if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the app.
The app is licensed to you, not sold. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where permitted by applicable law.
3. No bookings or travel services
Gezeri does not sell travel, accommodation, tours, transport, insurance, or other travel services. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, package travel organiser, or booking platform. Any booking, purchase, reservation, or arrangement you make with a third party is between you and that third party only. Gezeri is not a party to any such arrangement and has no liability for it.
4. The content
Gezeri publishes editorial travel content including destination guides, articles, recommendations, and practical information about Azerbaijan. Content may be prepared with the assistance of editorial, research, and technology tools, but it is reviewed and curated by Gezeri’s editorial team before publication.
Nothing in the app constitutes professional advice of any kind including legal, financial, medical, safety, or immigration advice. Do not rely on Gezeri content as a substitute for professional or official guidance.
5. Accuracy and travel information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the content in Gezeri is accurate at the time of publication. However, travel information can change quickly. Opening hours, prices, transport schedules, road conditions, business operations, visa rules, and safety conditions may change after publication.
You are responsible for checking official government, immigration, transport, and safety sources before travelling. Gezeri does not guarantee that visa, entry, health, safety, road, or transport information is complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
Always verify all operational details locally before you travel. Subject to section 14, Gezeri is not responsible for losses, costs, or inconvenience arising from reliance on information that has changed since publication where you have not checked current information with official or local sources.
6. Offline content
Some content is stored locally on your device for offline access. Offline content may not reflect the most recent updates. You should refresh the app and verify important information against current sources before relying on it for travel decisions.
7. Travel safety
Travel involves risk. You are responsible for your own travel decisions, safety, insurance, documents, health requirements, and compliance with local laws. Always check official travel advice, local rules, weather, road conditions, and safety information before and during travel. Gezeri does not provide real-time safety assessments and does not guarantee safety conditions at any destination, venue, road, route, attraction, or event.
Gezeri is not an emergency information service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services, your accommodation provider, your travel insurer, your embassy or consulate, or the relevant local authority.
8. Intellectual property
All content in the Gezeri app and on gezeri.com — including text, photographs, illustrations, editorial selections, and data compilations — is owned by Gezeri Ltd or licensed to us by the rights holder. All rights reserved.
Gezeri, the Gezeri name, logo, visual identity, and related brand assets are trade marks or trade names of Gezeri Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any Gezeri content without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use such as saving a screenshot for your own travel planning is permitted.
You must not use Gezeri content to train, develop, or improve artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, databases, travel products, or competing services without our prior written permission.
9. Acceptable use
You may use Gezeri for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not:
- Use the app or website for any unlawful purpose
- Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated tools to access, copy, or extract content
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with app security features or usage restrictions
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app
- Remove copyright, trade mark, or rights notices from any content
- Upload, introduce, or transmit malware, malicious code, or harmful material
- Use Gezeri content or branding in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with Gezeri without our prior written permission
- Use the app in a way that could damage, overload, or impair the app, website, servers, or related systems
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Gezeri
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the app or website if you breach these terms, misuse the app or website, infringe our intellectual property rights, interfere with our systems, or use Gezeri unlawfully.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
11. Third-party services and links
The app may link to external maps, websites, venues, restaurants, hotels, transport providers, or booking services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, pricing, booking terms, cancellations, refunds, safety standards, accessibility, or data practices of third-party services. Accessing a third-party service is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
12. App store terms
If you download Gezeri through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the relevant app store terms also apply. If there is a conflict between these terms and the app store terms, the app store terms apply only to the extent required by the relevant app store.
For users who download the app through the Apple App Store:
- These terms are between you and Gezeri Ltd, not Apple.
- The licence granted to you is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by Apple’s App Store terms and usage rules.
- Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the app. Gezeri Ltd is solely responsible for the app, its content, and any claims relating to the app.
- In the event of any failure by the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- Gezeri Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- You represent that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo or that has been designated by the US Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app.
For users who download the app through Google Play:
- These terms are between you and Gezeri Ltd, not Google. Google is not responsible for the app, its content, or any claims relating to your use of the app.
13. Availability and warranties
We provide the app and website using reasonable care and skill. However, we do not guarantee that the app, website, or content will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or harmful components.
The content is provided for general information only. We do not guarantee that travel information will remain accurate, complete, or current after publication.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Gezeri provides editorial travel information for general information only. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to check current information with official sources, local providers, transport operators, accommodation providers, venues, or authorities before travelling.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Information that becomes inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated after publication
- Decisions you make based on general editorial content in the app
- Third-party websites, maps, booking services, venues, transport providers, restaurants, hotels, tour operators, or other external services linked from the app
- Interruption, suspension, unavailability, or technical failure of the app or website
- Loss of locally saved bookmarks, cached content, or app settings on your device
- Business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss
Unless otherwise stated, the app is provided free of charge. If we are liable to you in connection with the app, website, or these terms, our total aggregate liability will not exceed £100 or the amount you paid to use the relevant part of the app in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is higher, except where applicable law does not permit such a limit.
15. Changes to the app and these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Where we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention, such as through an in-app notice or a notice on the website.
If you continue to use the app or website after updated terms take effect, you will be treated as accepting the updated terms. If you do not agree to updated terms, you should stop using the app and website.
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app or website at any time. Where changes materially affect your use of the app, we will take reasonable steps to give notice where practical.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or your use of Gezeri.
If you are a consumer living outside England and Wales, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable local law.
